Steve has been a Pastor for 30 years in the local church and is currently planting a church in New York City. He serves as a counselor with AvailNyc serving women and men navigating unexpected pregnancies. Steve’s experience in ministry has given him the opportunity to walk alongside families, couples, adolescents, children and even pastors through both difficult and joyous seasons of life. Steve’s approach is relational and motivated by the example of Christ.

Steve has a Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He also holds MA & BA degrees in Music & Theology. Steve served in the United States Air Force and has been married for 35 years. He and his wife have raised four children, 30, 29, 24 & 18.

Steve integrates a Biblically informed, Gospel centered foundation with various counseling theories such as Narrative Therapy & Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Family Therapy. He has experience in areas such as family conflict, grief, premarital, marital, & couples counseling as well as mentoring/counseling ministers and men.

Steve enjoys singing, playing guitar/piano, working out, playing basketball, throwing the frisbee in Central Park. Most of all Steve loves hanging out, traveling and just being around his favorite people, his family.
